How does Swim-EAR® work? Swim-Ear® works due to its powerful surface-tension releasing properties which quickly dislodge the trapped water from the sides of the ear canal, allowing it to easily run out. How quickly does Swim-Ear® work? Usually within a few seconds after usage. When should Swim-EAR® be used and what is the dosage? Swim-EAR® should be used immediately after leaving the water. Use 5 drops in each ear, alternately turning the head to the opposite side. Trapped ear-water will rapidly run out or simply evaporate away. When should Swim-EAR® drops NOT be used? Swim-EAR® drops are safe for use by adults and children when used as recommended. However, they should not be used if any ear infection is present, if there is any ear discharge, or if you have a perforated ear drum. Do not use on broken skin, or if pain is experienced. Consult a doctor in all these cases. A mild warming or tingling sensation may be experienced by some individuals when using Swim-EAR® and is quite normal. Read the box for further details.
